General
All services provided by VealHost.com may only be used for lawful purposes. Data or material in violation of any United States, Federal, State, City law, or the laws of the United Kingdom or European Union is prohibited.
In addition, work that you do not own the copyright for (or do not hold the permission from the copyright-owner to publish), material that is judged as unsuitable or threatening, unlicensed software or files are also not permitted.
Non-acceptable content:
Pirated software,
Illegal music or video media,
Malicious software,
Warez sites,
Virus, Worm, or Trojan horse program distribution,
SPAM software,
Hacker software,
Inappropriate Domain-names
Child Pornography.
Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material that is in violation of our terms, will cause the account to be suspended. You agree to hold VealHost.com harmless from any claims resulting from the use of our services that damages the client or any other party.
Server Abuse:
Any attempts to cause potential damage to the VealHost Network, specifically aimed at a server or customer of our services is strictly prohibited. VealHost.com will follow legal action to the fullest extent against any abuse of our servers & services.
Any actions that cause prolonged CPU usage RAM or any other component of our service and therefore cause problems for other clients is prohibited.
Bulk Email
The use of our services for sending unsolicited email is strictly prohibited, as is any use of unsolicited email for advertising any account or service provided by VealHost.com; An account will be suspended if suspected for sending unsolicited emails. We also have a fair-usage policy in place for our Shared servers; however we try to contact users before suspension, when related to fair-use.
cPanel and Fantastico
Our servers have cPanel/WHM and fantastico installed, these are external applications that are licensed and provided for our clients by our services. VealHost.com will try to assist and advice through technical support, however will not accept any responsibility for their functionality or reliability.
Chatrooms & IRC
We allow clients to install and operate their own chatroom scripts upon our shared servers, however these tend to use large amounts of system resources, therefore we do provide and suggest certain HTML based PHP chatroom scripts of which do not affect the performance of the server for other users.
The use of IRC, IRC bots, proxy servers and any related application or service is permitted as long as users do not connect to major networks.
Data Backups
All hosting services provided by VealHost.com are backed up on a regular basis upon an external server. Whilst we ensure that no data will be lost in the event of a failure or disaster, we make no guarantee about this and we strongly encourage keeping their own backup copies of all data hosted.
VPS and dedicated server customers are fully responsible for managing their own backups. VealHost.com can provide a custom backup service however; this is at an additional cost and requires a request.
You, as the client are responsible for protecting data of a sensitive nature and under no circumstances should your web-hosting account hold any confidential information.
Account Suspension
A breach of these Terms of Services will result in immediate suspension of your service; your account will be un-suspended when it meets the requirements of our Terms of Service. If the breach requires a re-connection fee, you will be liable for the payment.
If your account(s) is suspended for violating our policy, you, as the client forfeit the right as a refund.
We reserve the right to terminated or suspend your account at any time.
Non-Payment
VealHost.com is a pay in advance service; clients must complete full payment before any service is activated. For our shared, reseller package hosting and domain registration, these services are automatically completed after payment has been successfully submitted. VealHost.com will suspend and follow a set procedure if a session of non-payment occurs:
Payment is overdue by one day:
A overdue email notice will be sent to the registered email address of the Client Area.
Payment is overdue by two days:
A second overdue email notice will be sent, informing you that the account will be suspended due to an un-paid invoice if the payment is not received.
Payment is overdue by three days:
A third overdue email notice will be sent.
Payment is overdue by five days:
After five days of the due date,
the account is automatically suspended by our billing system, The account will remain suspended until payment is submitted and the invoice is paid. Since the process is automated, as soon as payment is complete, the account will be unsuspended.
Failure to submit payment for your service within five days after the payment due date of your invoice, will result in a late fee being added, which is 20% of the original invoice total, which is attached to the un-paid invoice.
Non-payment for domain registration will result in the domain expiring; domains will cease to function and may be available for registration by other parties.
When ordering a new service, we allow a two day grace before the system recognises the invoice as overdue. However, this only occurs at the ordering stage, once an order is accepted, the above terms apply.
Invoices are automatically generated seven days before the payment due date. A reminder is sent three days before the invoice due date.
Overage Billing
This is calculated on the last day of the month, and included on the next generated invoice. You, as the client shall be informed, via the address set within the control panel, prior to reaching your account limit.
Price Changes
VealHost.com reserves the right to change and update the price charge for our hosting plans, both to new and existing customers. All price changes will be announced at least a month before being applied to existing customers. Price changes will be immediate active on new accounts.
Paypal
VealHost.com operates a subscription billing of which on the anniversary of your service, your Paypal account will be automatically charged (using Paypal Subscriptions). All payments are non-refundable unless an error made upon our part. The account of which you would be charged is dictated by the services of which you are subscribed, this can be used within the Client Area. The subscription amount charged is defined when the subscription is created, this cannot be modified without the creation of a new subscription.
An invoice is created seven days before due date, if you have chosen to use Paypal subscriptions, the invoice will be automatically marked as paid upon due date. If you do not to use Subscriptions, we also offer Paypal Invoices, which require user input to submit payment before or on the invoice due date.
Cancellations
Your account will continue to be charged for services until a cancellation request is submitted via the Client Area.
When submitting a cancellation request, we require a five day notice before your next due date. If you do not allow a five day notice, the pending invoice must be paid before the request is carried out. Please allow 24 hours for your cancellation request to be processed.
Subleasing & Reselling
We do not allow subleasing of our shared hosting services, Our shared hosting plans are for single users, VealHost.com offers a range of Reseller hosting packages as well as custom packages to suit the client.
Violations
Violations of the above Terms should be referred to abuse[at]vealhost.com. All information received will be investigated promptly. Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account suspension.
VealHost.com reserves the right to amend any or all of the above polices, guidelines and disclaimer without notification.
